With its specifications such as a Vortex86DX SoC processor and DDR2 RAM, the VDX-6354RD forms a compact and universal embedded board that can be combined with extensions to form an individually equipped PC system for industrial and technical purposes thanks to its compatibility with PC/104.

The VDX-6354RD's features include a 32-bit Vortex86DX processor with a clock frequency of 800MHz and a 256MB DDR2 RAM as main memory, resulting in a PC/104 CPU embedded board compatible with x86 architecture for operating systems such as Linux, FreeDOS or Microsoft Embedded.

Native interfaces include 10/100Mbps Ethernet and a 16Bit GPIO with PWM for a maximum of 24 channels.

The PC/104 Embedded Board VDX-6354RD complements these with triple Serial COM RS232 and COM RS232/422/485, a parallel port, double USB 2.0 and Enhanced IDE as interface to optical drives or storage media.

For the use as H2M terminal a graphical output via VGA or TFT flat panel with a dedicated 32MB video memory for resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 pixels is available.
