Among the PC/104 CPU boards, the IBW-6954-E4 is characterized by the exceptionally high performance of an Intel Atom x5-E8000 processor, which the embedded board combines with a 4GB DDR3L RAM and a versatile selection of interfaces such as Gigabit Ethernet for LAN, Serial COM, USB 2.0 and GPIO.

With the Intel Atom x5-E8000, the PC/104 embedded board uses a powerful and efficient Quad Core CPU with a clock frequency of 1.04GHz and a very low power dissipation of only 5 Watts TDP under full load.

By integrating mSATA and MicroSD slots, the IBW-6954-E4 supports two parallel storage media and allows separation between operating system and user data or individual expansion of drive capacity.

Native I/O integrated via connectors, headers and slots include dual Serial COM RS232 and RS232/422/485, quad USB 2.0, GPIO, LAN at 10/100/1000 Mbps, and HDMI and 30 pin LVDS as graphic outputs.

Due to its compatibility with the PC/104 standard, the IBW-6954-E4 allows to install interfaces according to individual requirements and to continue using existing hardware.
